I don't really want to sound arrogant or bitchy, but I have to say this. I wrote a similar blog months ago and deleted it, because I thought things improved. Now I don't think there is a standard around here at all anymore. I won't point any specific ones out, but there were just some fairly atrocious layouts approved. A year ago I would get layouts rejected that looked like I at least put effort into them. It seems like all you have to do now is find a background on photobucket and stick it behind some horribly done tables to get it approved.

The reason I bring this up is because now that layout pages only show ten at a time, layouts that are actually well put-together are being bumped all the way to No Man's Land before they can get the attention they deserve. Not only that, but it's unfair to those of us who actually put effort into a layout so it lives up to the standards. Why should we waste so much time perfecting it when we really don't have to?

You can disagree with me if you wish. This is my personal opinion, and I felt I needed to write about it. I'm going to continue to submit and be active around here, because this site has done a lot for me. It sounds cheesy, but my website would not be as popular as it is if people did not find my work on here. Thank you for reading if you did.
